Just to be annoyingly pedantic, you mean 640k. As far as anyone knows, Bill never actually said that. He’s denied it on multiple occasions and to be honest, nobody as involved as he was in developing an operating system at that time, especially targetting the 8088/8086 would ever say something like that.

That said, flash will most likely never be used in a PC. It’s way too slow and expensive to be worth the bother. Hard drive technology has rocketed so far away from it it’s not even funny.

flash drives (usb or otherwise) are already cracking the 1 GB barrier. Why don’t you think they’ll take over. It’s very obvious that the way the world is heading is to have all you storage in the one device. Probably a tiny little stick of chip like a flash drive/thumb drive, whatever you want to call it. It’ll hold many gigs of data including your software and you can just dock it into any shell of a pc anywhere and have all your software and data right there.

For the dark green thing, look in “Who is online” section. If jiggy is online u’ll see his name in green.
