DSC-T1 language problems!!

I got my DSC-T1 this morning, but as it’s come from japan everything on the camera is in japanese!!  I’ve managed to set the date/time etc, but now it comes up with this message and none of the buttons appear to do anything…
It comes up regardless of the MS being in or not
I know a few people on here can read japanese so any help would be gratefully recieved.

Also I’ll need help getting to the language menu so I can change to english and solve all my problems!!

lol never mind… I’ve sorted it all.

It would appear that it says ‘lens cover closed’...

Have also managed to get it into english so now I’m off to play! :D

I needed a good laugh this morning…you had the lens cover closed…hehe.

At least your T1 works and it didn’t say “Send back to Sony for repairs”

Well the first thing I did when I had it plugged in was open the lens cover, but it didn’t seem to do anything which is why my heart stopped beating!!  I think I had to leave it charging for a bit first before it changed… oh well… serves me right for being impatient!!
