The Music Move software does not work unless you have a VAIO Pocket. If you try to run the software it will complain that there’s no device attached. I’ll play around with it some more…it’s also only in Japanese so that may be an issue for some of you.

I can’t see your picture. I think it has something to do with Geocities not liking linked pictures.

hey deathstar, looks like u and I are using a simular setup…do u use the macOSXtheme with styleXP? and is that panther theme with sidebar?  and then how did u get rid of SideBar logo at the top, and how did u get the calender on the left?  thanks!

I am using “patched” uxtheme.dll with Parther theme.  8)

The calendar is samurize ... cool application.  :wink:

this is really strange. when click on the link above , i get an error page that it is not accessible. However, if you click on the URL address bar and enter (not clicking on the refresh button), the image will appear .... somehow it works if it’s a new HTTP request, but not for a redirected HTTP request.  :?

A question for those who employ the Y’z Toolbar Milk Theme. Do you guys ever need to occasionally “right-click—> customize” the Windows Explorer Tool Bar so that it resets back to Y’z Toolbar Milk Theme?

I discovered that my Windows Explorer Toolbar reverts to WinXP default occasionally; especially when I access My Computer from Desktop instead of the Y’z Dock.

I figured out just how to permanently change the Explorer toolbar—> use Restorator and edit the Shell32.dll file with whichever toolbar theme one desired.

This is probably the only computer that I have owned that can keep me so busy ... so busy with this forum, so busy with desktop customization. Shortly after I completed my first desktop, I have changed it!

i know deathstar i know! i think i could have rebuilt the 1986 Enfiled in the backyard instead i am messing with the interface on the TR - but it’s so much FUN!  thanks for tip on rainleinder and thanks to the person who posted the link to Yzdock…back to the drawing board on my desktop…will post update soon!

okay, thanks groove, death, and all others who are contributing to this thread…  i am almost there, after 6 hours or so…i should get a life…f*&%*it, here is the desktop, which was made with
1. On the left, YzDock and collected icons,made gray with photoshop.  Qs: replacing dock icons seems only to work with .png files, but replacing docklet icons ucan use.ico files.  whuz up with that?
2. On the right, i used three instances of rainmeter, one for the bottom (weather), one for the middle (blackn’white) and a custom one on top, where i modifies weather to have a clock instead. Qs on rainmeter: notice in the first screen shop the overlap of the middle section on top of the bottom section, in screen shot #2 it’s correct.  I can’t get it to stay that way without clicking on the middle part, which moves the layer above the bottom one :cry:
3. now, to finish i HAVE to do something with the taskbar - I HATE IT! what to do?  I would like to grey out all the stupid colored icons, that would look better, but is there a better way - it would take forever to replace all those icons, no?  i dont even think it’s possible… so is there a taskbar replacement?  ideas?  suggestions?  thanks!!!!!
