a shot inthe dark I expect. But has anyone out there got one of these scanners. It seems they have a real problem with XP. Just wondered if anyone had a cure or knew where to get a v cheap scanner?

I have the 3200c…I have used it earlier and it worked without problems…may be u should visit the HP site and look for updated drivers.

edit: I just visited their site and there are a few updates available…

may be installing one or more might solve ur problem.

Thanks for that, sadly none of the updates address the problem. I guess there may be a conflict with the video chipset. I will have to check it. The funny thing is that it worked to start with but now it doesn’t.
