Touch pad

Does anyone here have a problem with the touchpad freezing (i.e. you can’t move the mouse pointer). What could be causing this and what would be the solution? I find that I have to press the power button to shut down the computer.

i had the same problem with my dell and compaq laptops. never happened with the tr.

ocasionally it does misbehave but has never caused the system to freeze up altogether.

I tend not to use the touch pad much as I find it a little cramped. It gives me a bad wrist. (no funny comments you guys!)
I always use a mouse, makes life much better.

I also find the mouse to be much more comfortable when using my TR.
