Not sure if it would work.  My question is, why would you want it for the TR?  The TR is about as portable as it gets.  What would you use the remote for?

It should work but it will be very limited. I would pick up another type of remote that has software specifically written for it that isnt model-locked like Sony’s.

If you have the Bluetooth installed then you could use a Sony Ericsson phone to remote control your TR.  It may not be as elegant as this remote but it’s darned cool and makes your friends think you’re totally crazy (in a good sort of way).

I am sure most our friends think we are “crazy” just because of our TR obsession.

i am using t630 with the tr via bt and it works great as a remote with the float’s media agent. 

Isn’t the t630 a cell phone? If it is, do you have that much battery life that you can waste it using it as a remote?

I know my cell barely makes it through the day on 2 batteries…thanks to Verizons 2000+ minute plan with unlimited damn near everything.

ever since i added my gf to my shared minutes plan i managed to learn how to use my phone alot less :cry: . perhaps maybe that’s why my phone’s battery tend to last. i just got the t630 so the battery is still somewhat new..i don’t really see a big difference in the battery life
