aw man mine makes so much racket its insane, but only with certian cds which i know are screwed wrong. i get a lot of cds here in nepal - all bootleg - and is seems with low quality media, stupid labeling, etc. either they are unreadable in TR drive or they are very noisy. sometimes ya can even hear the head banging around. i’m not sure if this is a TR problem or just the nature of cheap media. it seems there are some tight tolerances in there. but when i take the cds back to the shop to “complain” they pop the cd into thier ancient 386 and it works fine. ke garne?
