Hello everyone!

After lurking around for a while, I just wanted to say hello and thank everyone for their wealth of information. I purchased a TR3A yesterday and I’m still in the process of “cleaning it up”.

So far I simply love it! I’m sure I’ll be hammering everyone with questions soon , but so far so good.

Yeah, so far i totally love it. It was a little sluggish until i removed all the pre-installed rubbish. Now it runs like a champ. Any suggestions on what i can disable at startup to make it even smoother?

Well, if you’re already monitoring the msconfig.exe process list, there isn’t much else you can do.  You can minimize the amount of USB/Firewire devices you have, to avoid the DHCP IP assigning times. Good luck, and congrats on your purchase.
