My first TR3AP2, which was brand new and DOA when it arrived from New Egg last week did not have any Disc’s with it.  NO XP PRO.
My friend just bought a TR3A from CompUSA last week and his had XP Home Disc with it.
So whats the deal.
I want to make sure I didn’t get some model that someone had taken XP Pro out of it.
And I want to make sure that my replacement TR3 that’s coming this week is correct.
So XP Pro Disc or No XP Pro Disc??

Not all tr’s come with the disc. my tr2p3 came without anything but the charger and some papers. use to vaio recovery wizard to create it. xp is in your hidden 5gb partition.

Just got off the phone, and he has a oem version of XP Home on Disc that came with his TR3A.

damn this is truly crazy..my TR3AP3 came without xp as is the case with most other people around…it could be that someone at the factory by mistake put a disc of xp in the box which ur friend got.

The only disc I got was the stupid AOL one :x

same here..everyone be giving out aol discs like candy. too bad you can’t format them and reuse them like back in the days when they are on floppys.

I just got a TR3AP2, and it came with nothing.  Going to try and get a recovery DVD from Sony.  Wish me luck.  :wink:
