[quote author=“gameson”][quote author=“The Mechanic”]I’m a contract UNIX/scripting/database whore in investment banking, which is a lot cooler than it sounds actually. When not on contract I can be found behind turntables in nightclubs and at outdoor dance festies all over the world, hiking up mountains (while more often than not involved in Geocaching www.geocaching.com), and generally being on the move a lot….
I think of myself as some sort of Cyber-Gypsy(tm)—I’ve lived in Hamburg, Stuttgart, Munich, Coburg, NYC, Seattle, Austin, Baltimore, London, Glasgow, Dundee, Dublin, New Jersey and a bunch of other places I forgot and I tend to never stay anywhere more than a few months. The guiding maxim of my life is “never own more stuff than you can carry”, and I’m ready for deployment in 15 minutes or less at all times. My TR1MP suits this lifestyle perfectly.

Cartoonalist with an attitude - I use the TR1 and a canon D300 to create a weekly cartoon strip for the Nepali Times here in Kathmandu. I get 400 NRS per cartoon so I am looking for a “real” job to pay off the Mastercard bill on these 2 gizmos. OR, conversely, if you are a major newspaper publisher and need a cartoon to run everyday that appeals to both the Asian audience and the LA crowd, please inquire within my website for info on syndication. Donations also accepted. Proceeds to feed Nepal’s animals in need, including my own.

Multimedia design team leader, subnotebook importer as a part time/hobby business but am just finishing off a big project to become CEO of a public Company.
Well, my summer job is being an Administrative Assistant for my city’s engineering and zoning depts. Just got a new nifty TR2AP3 off of ebay, and plan to join the Air Force in the fall and go to school from there.
Software Project Manager / Technical Architect; just finished a 3 year contract in The Netherlands for one of the European agencies.
Now back in the UK after a quick jaunt round East Africa and back working in the UK Law Enforcement arenas.
Part time photographer, used to DJ in the center of London and Camden Town and throw myself down moutains on a bike. Just started racing a 1973 MG Midget which could be a larf (or v. expensive when it goes wrong!)
I’m a french Software Engineer, in assignment by my french company, to work in London(UK) since 1 year now.
The good point is that by this assignment, I managed to buy my TR2MP at Dixons Tax Free Shop at Stansted Airport, which make me save £400 regarding the price in France at that time. :D
