is the sound card in the TR1 any good? or is it worth getting one of those usb external sound devices to get 5.1 surround?

I dont know about the soundcard, but the speakers are terrible.

Sound Card’s okay if you hook ‘em up to external speakers, but built-ins are terrible, weak and hollow sound. Best bet, for maximum mobility, invest in a pair of Sennheiser headphones. Maybe not cheap, but sweeet audio.
