http://www.sonystyle.com has the new A Series listed. I hope the S type will show up soon.

Kool! I wish they included Do VAIO software…. As far as S series notebook, how do you know they will sell those in the US? There was no mentioning of it in their news resease, only the A series notebooks and R series desktops.

Too bad the integrated Bluetooth is only included with the 17” monitor and not the 15”.  I guess if you want to be “mobile” you don’t want BT.

Are you sure about this?  I mean, they have not even released this laptop here in the States.  Have you got a leak on U.S. specs? :D

I was looking at the link provided to the SonyStyle site and it shows the specs and how you can customize them for pre-orders.

Nonetheless, how can anyone in their right mind classify a 17” anything as ‘portable?’ for goodness’ sake, I don’t even have 17” of space in my messenger bag as it is.  The TR is large enough, only cause of all the other folders and crap I need to tote along with the thing.  8)

Yeah, the TR is seriously the largest I would consider for a portable device…my other 2 ‘full’ size notebooks are just for going to local places, they get no real travel time.
