I looked into those MSN Direct watches but decided not to get it.  The features weren’t compelling enough for me to wear a huge watch that needs to be recharged every few days.

basically, there’s a radio in the watch that updates itself at preset intervals (if you are lucky enough to get service in your area).

do you really need news headlines on your wrist? NO
but it does sync your schedule with outlook

Fossil ‘Big Tic’ watch, six years and running well.  A little beat up, but a resilient little thing.

Has anybody seen one of those Casio PictureCam Watches? Or the MP3 Player Watch?  When I was younger, those were the coolest things in the world. But then I realized, I had to be uber-uber geek to do that.  Thank God for maturity.

If I wanted jewelry…I’d buy jewelry.  There are better things to spend my money on.

I don’t normally wear one. I hate getting a watch tan. If I do have to wear one then it’s a Nike chronometer for when I’m running or at the gym. If I’m going out I just wear a titanium fossil watch.

I’m not too big on watches as I normally just check my cell phone for the time.

I’ve got a drawer full of them from old pocket watches to Acutrons.

My favorite is an anniversary gift from my wife…A Breitling Old Navitimer.

Nothing fancy, just a Seiko Kinetic I picked up a couple of years ago.

I gave up my watch (Fossil Blue) cuz I’m in front of a computer most of the time (sadly) or have my cell phone with me.  No big deal.  Who really needs that much scheduling in their life anyway?  If I’m going to a function, I might put one on, but only if my wrist will be exposed.

Given that it’s basically summer. I also tell time by how bright it is outside. In Los Angeles, it starts to get dark around 7pm. Even at 8pm it’s still dusk. Crazy. I love it.
